Water’s bend (by Rosa Say)
A good thing to collect: Knowledge of those easy-to-access natural places which define the mana of your sense of place. This was just a 15 minute walk after a lunch appointment for me; part of the Waimea Stream Trail now cared for by the Waimea Trails and Greenways Committee, the Waimea Outdoor Circle, PATH (Peoples Advocacy for Trails Hawai`i) and other volunteer groups.
(You can see a good map of The Waimea Nature Park here, and the rest of my Flickr photo set here.)
