As of this writing, it’s only $2.99 on Kindle, and your experiences are like the blade of a comprehension slicing pair of scissors (more on that within the blog post this points to).

I decided to post this earlier than I usually do (as full book review), just in case you want to read along with me: The price is certainly right! (You don’t need the Kindle device itself; you can download it from the Kindle page to your computer.)

I’m just 15% through it, about to start Chapter 3, Fooled by a Feeling, and so far am liking it quite a bit. Lehrer has a very easy-to-read writing style.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is the Daily Deal at $0.99 today!

I have no idea how many times I have read, annotated, and referred to my dog-eared copy of this CLASSIC book, and I still grabbed this digital copy (The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People) because it makes searching SO much easier.

If you want a quick reminder, these are his 7 Habits:

• Habit 1, Be Proactive, is the Habit of Personal Vision.
• Habit 2, Begin with the End in Mind, is the Habit of Personal Leadership.
• Habit 3, Put First Things First, is the Habit of Personal Management.
• Habit 4, Think Win-Win, is the Habit of Interpersonal Leadership.
• Habit 5, Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood, is the Habit of Communication.
• Habit 6, Synergize, is the Habit of Creative Cooperation.

Taking stock of my digital reading:

You don’t curl up with a Kindle compared to a book, at least I don’t, but it’s still great reading. It’s a different experience, one which is more lightweight-mobile and focus-efficient for me, and I now shake my head at the scarcity thinking when I hear the separate camps of those who defend the timeless honor of “real books” versus those who delight in being completely ebook savvy: Why not enjoy both?

Interesting too, seeing how pricing for e-publishing is getting established: These range from $0.99 to $2.99

The subtitle of this one, by Jennifer Modarelli, is “How we’re trying to Kindle Interest” and she connects her not-as-early-an-adopter status as a now-passionate Kindle reader to her agency’s use of it for their content syndication.
